Mercedes-Benz has just revealed the all-new 2012 face-lifted C63 AMG. The new C63 sedan and estate will officially debut at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show.

One of the biggest mechanical upgrades is the addition of the AMG Speedshift 7-speed multi-clutch transmission (MCT) with Race Start, which will come standard. The 2012 C63 is stocked with the familiar AMG-tuned 6.2 liter V8, which pushes 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.

The C63 gets some suspension tweaks, thicker stabilizer bars, and an AMG limited-slip differential which costs extra coin.

For speed junkies Mercedes offers an optional AMG Performance package, which raises total output to 481 horsepower. The sprint from 0-62 mph will take less than 4.4 seconds, and the top speed jumps to 174 mph.

The AMG Performance package comes with forged pistons, lightweight conrods, a revised crank and remapped ECU. It also comes with AMG high-performance brakes and red painted calipers.

Other notable features include a carbon fiber lip spoiler, engine intake runners that are coated in titanium gray and an AMG performance steering wheel which feels like a supermodel in your hands.

Exterior tweaks include new L-shaped headlamps, an aluminum hood with power dome, restyled bumpers with LED day time running lights, a revised “one bar” grill, LED tail lights, a reshaped diffuser, and 18 inch AMG alloy wheels.

The 2012 C63 AMG will start arriving in dealerships this summer. Stay tuned to Motor Lounge for more information as we receive it.
