2012 Ford Explorer Funkmaster Flex
American automaker Ford and partner Funkmaster Flex have teamed up again for the 2010 SEMA show in Las Vegas. This time to show off the 2012 Ford Explorer.
The creation will be called the Explorer Funkmaster Flex.
Ford has tweaked the new Explorer with 24-inch three-piece forged billet wheels wrapped in Cooper tires, as well as Baer brakes. Interior-wise, Team Baurtwell and Funkmaster Flex added all sorts of logos and upgrades to sex up the cockpit.
It also features two-tone leather seats and a Sony audio system for a nice surround sound experience.
This is not the first time Funkmaster Flex and Ford have teamed up…if you remember they also collaborated at the SEMA show for the Ford Taurus SHO, Ford Fiesta and a production Ford Expedition.
The look of this Explorer is way more subtle than the two-tone Expedition of the past. I guess the fact that no one bought the car actually settled into their minds. There is no official word whether or not a production version will be released, but we are leaning towards a “red-light” not a green one.

GREEN LIGHT!
